Christopher Winkelaar
Director
Outside of being The Kobold Collective’s (humble) fearless leader, Chris wears a number of hats: Dad, Dungeon Master, Green Thumb. He once unsuccessfully went to Brock for a Dramatic Arts degree before returning to school years later at OCAD University for Illustration. Chris has over 10 years of experience working as a designer and lead at Bitmoji. When not working he can often be seen hosting game nights at local breweries. He founded TKC in hopes of making games that bring people together and inspire creativity.

Mauricio Gamboa
Illustration & Design
Hailing from Mexico, Mauricio spent the past 15 years working as an illustrator and graphic designer. Before moving to Canada, he worked with several startups in Mexico City and spent some time freelancing as an illustrator in Sydney, Australia. He loves bringing curiosity and creative solutions to design, and adding a shot of humour while he’s at it. At the end of the day, Mauricio is happiest when collaborating with great people, learning from others, and creating work that tells a story.
